Accuracy and transparency are core to AloMatches. This page explains how we correct errors, update articles and match pages, label changes, and how you can report an issue to our team.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

We strive to provide precise match information, context, and curated embeds. When mistakes happen, we fix them promptly and disclose material changes to maintain reader trust.

How to Report an Error

If you spot an inaccuracy (wrong score/time, outdated lineup, broken/unauthorized embed, typo, etc.), please contact us with the URL, a short description, and (if possible) a reliable source:

  • Use the Contact page (choose topic “Correction”).
  • Or email the editorial inbox shown on the Contact page.

Tip: Include screenshots or official references to speed up verification.

What We Correct vs. What We Update

Corrections (factual errors)

  • Incorrect facts (e.g., kickoff date/time, final score, competition, stadium).
  • Misattributed sources or misidentified teams/players.
  • Material mistakes in headings, summaries, or schema metadata.

Updates (new info / non-material changes)

  • Legitimate new details (e.g., lineup confirmed, injury update, referee named).
  • Formatting, grammar, and accessibility improvements.
  • Replacing or removing broken third-party embeds.

Note: Typos not affecting meaning are usually fixed silently.

Labels We Use

  • Correction — fixes a factual error. We add a short note explaining what changed.
  • Update — adds new verified info (e.g., “Lineups confirmed”).
  • Clarification — improves wording to avoid ambiguity without changing facts.

Timeframes & SLAs

  • Live/ongoing matches: best-effort within minutes of verification.
  • Published articles/pages: usually within 24–48 hours after validation.
  • Complex disputes: may require additional time; we will annotate the page when material.

How We Implement Corrections

Verification

  • We cross-check with reputable sources and official data where available.
  • Editors document the reason and scope of the change.

Disclosure

  • Material fixes add a Correction or Update note near the header or end of the page.
  • Schema and sitemaps are refreshed when necessary.

Version History & Changelog

For significant articles, we maintain a brief changelog noting the date/time and nature of material edits. Minor non-material edits (typos, style) may be unnoted.

Third-Party Content & Embeds

  • Most videos appear via authorized third-party widgets. Availability can change without notice.
  • If an embed is unauthorized or infringes rights, please file a request via our DMCA page.
  • Logos/marks inside widgets remain property of their owners and appear for identification only.

User-Generated Content

When comments or community inputs are available, we moderate for safety and legality. We may remove content that violates our guidelines and, where relevant, post a clarification note.

Corrections on Social Media

If a significant error was shared on our official channels, we will post a follow-up with the corrected information or annotate the original post when the platform allows.

Independence from Ads & Affiliates

  • Advertising does not influence our corrections or updates process.
  • Affiliate relationships never affect whether or how we correct content.

Contact & Feedback

We welcome reader feedback. To request a correction or suggest an improvement, visit our Contact page and select “Correction”. We review every message.
