Last updated: September 20, 2025

This page explains how California residents can exercise their rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA). You can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, request access or deletion, and manage ad/cookie preferences used by AloMatches.

CCPA/CPRA Do Not Sell or Share Global Privacy Control (GPC) Google AdSense

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California residents can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information used for cross-context behavioral advertising. When you opt out, we will limit data flows used for personalized ads where applicable (e.g., enable Google’s Restricted Data Processing/Consent Mode restrictions).

Current status: Not Opted-Out.

Note: Opt-out is stored in a first-party cookie for 13 months (renew anytime). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically.

Categories of Personal Information

In the past 12 months, AloMatches may have collected (depending on your interactions):

  • Identifiers (e.g., IP address, cookies, device IDs).
  • Internet/Network activity (e.g., page views, referrers, ad events).
  • Geolocation data (coarse, from IP; no precise location).
  • Inferences derived from usage to improve content relevance.

We collect this information from you (your browser/app), from cookies/SDKs, and from service providers (e.g., analytics or ad partners). For details, see Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Purposes of Use

  • Deliver, secure, debug, and measure our services (Core Web Vitals, anti-abuse).
  • Non-sensitive personalization (site features and content ordering).
  • Advertising/measurement where allowed (to keep the site free for fans).
  • Compliance with legal obligations (e.g., fraud prevention).

“Sale”/“Sharing” and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. However, certain ad/measurement activities may be deemed a “sale” or “sharing” under CCPA/CPRA. Using the opt-out above will limit those activities to the extent applicable.

Your Rights (California)

  • Right to Know the categories/specific pieces of personal information we collect.
  • Right to Delete personal information (subject to legal exceptions).
  • Right to Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of sale/sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to Limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not use SPI for profiling).
  • Non-Discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

How to Exercise

Use the controls on this page to opt out. For access, deletion, or correction requests, please contact us via the Contact page. We will verify your request (e.g., by email confirmation or account checks, if applicable) and respond within statutory timelines.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will require proof of the agent’s authority and may ask you to verify your identity directly.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale/sharing for the browser you use. You can still use the buttons above to adjust preferences manually.

Minors

We do not knowingly sell/share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described and to comply with legal obligations. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Advertising & Measurement

  • Google AdSense/Ads: If you opt out, we implement restrictions (e.g., Google Consent Mode updates) to limit how your data is used for ad personalization/measurement.
  • Third-party embeds: Some widgets (e.g., video, highlights) may set their own cookies. Use your browser tools and the Cookie Policy to control these.
